I apologize for the LONG delay in posting, friends. I've been lovingly harrassed by more than a few of you for not posting more often...but I hope you understand! :) Along with the busy-ness of a family of 7...God called us to host an event on April 15 in Knoxville for 730 of our closest family and friends (LOL!)to raise funds and awareness for Africa's orphan crisis. You can read more about the event on that blog: www.hopeinthedarknews.blogspot.com. or click on the link on the right side of this blog. God did it ALL! And it was one incredible evening!
The video below was produced in Knoxville specifically for this event...but tells our story so we wanted to share it here. Enjoy. We love you all and covet your prayers....daily!

Wow! Incredibly story! Thanks for sharing your journey. Your family is incredibly blessed!
Your video is so powerful and moving. And the Hope In The Dark event was as well! :)

Beth... we are a fellow AWAA family and we brought home our 2 just before you guys last summer. We might be moving to the Knoxville area next summer and I would love to ask you some questions if you wouldn't mind. Could you email me at vandruff dot family at gmail dot com??? I would soooo appreciate it!!
Beth,
I wish I could see the video, for some reason it's blocked from my view. Kalu, and your other kiddos, are adorable! Hope you're settling in to your new normal ;)
I wondered, do you keep up with Traci Bingham (forget her married name) or any of the other girls from our Parker Dorm days?? :)
